Dr. Mukesh Dwivedi graduated from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College at Aligarh Muslim University in 1990. Upon graduation, he decided to serve his country and joined the Army Medical Corps. He served at multiple locations, including in some of the most inhospitable high-altitude military bases in Jammu and Kashmir. He retired as a Major.
He subsequently worked at Holy Family Hospital but after purchasing a home in Vasundhara, he decided to serve his local community, and was the first doctor in the area in 2002. Since then, he has continued to practice in the area. He is also a consulting physician at several local companies and schools.
